Melland Careers Week

There are so many options out there for our students and Melland Careers Week highlighted this recently, by bringing in guests from all sorts of industries to show the young learners what it is like in their profession. With talks and demonstrations from post office managers, bakers, animal therapists, hairdressers, nurses and construction engineers to name a few, there were lots of practical activities giving our students the chance to try out the skills themselves. It’s the role of schools to inspire as well as educate and by welcoming in professionals from the local community, we are able to bring jobs to life. Thanks to everyone who was involved and well done to all the Melland students.
