Our core purpose at Bright Futures Professional Development Institute (PDI) is to deliver high quality learning experiences, underpinned by evidence-informed practice to support excellent education provision and lifelong opportunities for children in our region. With the support and dedication of our teachers, leaders, schools, delivery partners and supporters, we make a significant impact towards our vision of ‘the best for everyone, the best from everyone’.

Our PDI is led by high-skilled Leaders who are integral to the success of the PDI.  Colleagues work across our two Teaching School Hubs, Maths Hub, SCITT, Bright Futures Training, SEND Outreach and Early Years Stronger Practice Hub.

In addition to our Leaders, our PDI is supported by a number of partnerships.  Our partnerships bring together a diverse range of stakeholders including schools from across all sectors and phases, Local Authority colleagues and a wide range of professional partners. These partnerships ensure our programmes are tailored to meet local priorities as well as ensuring academic rigour.  Our partnerships continue to be at the centre of our commitment to foster collaborative relationships, harnessing local expertise and capacity. By working together, we deliver high-quality professional development programmes.
