Our core purpose as Bright Futures Professional Development Institute (including Teaching School Hubs) is to deliver and signpost professional development and evidence-informed practice to achieve excellent education provision and lifelong opportunities for all children in the region. Alongside providing Appropriate Body services, we focus in particular on the Department for Education’s (DfE) ‘golden thread’ of ITT, the Early Career Framework / the Early Career Teacher Entitlement and National Professional Qualifications. Through collaboration and a drive for excellence, we are committed to supporting the recruitment, development and retention of the very best teachers. Our vision is ‘the best for everyone, the best from everyone’.
Here is a series of case studies which shine a light on our ‘BrightSparks’, who are involved in the two-year training programme for Early Career Teachers at Bright Futures Teaching School Hubs. We hope you enjoy reading about the impact of our provision.
