Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, public authorities are required to respond to requests within 20 working days of receipt. That deadline has now passed.

For reference, my original request was:

1. Do you serve ANY HALAL MEAT at your school?
2. If the answer to (1) is “yes”, is it labelled as such?
3. If the answer to (1) is “yes”, what percentage of meat served is Halal?
4. If the answer to (1) is “yes”, who is your supplier?

I am formally requesting that you:

1. Confirm receipt of my original request 2. Provide the information requested, or issue a refusal notice in accordance with section 17 of the Act, citing the applicable exemption(s) 3. Confirm a date by which a full response will be provided
